Ballonhotel offers the friendly ambience of a family-run hotel in the sunny apple country near Lake Stubenberg. Enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet with many regional products in the morning. In the evening the restaurant serves international specialities as well as Styrian delights and whole food dishes. There are also afternoon snacks and outdoor barbecue parties. For younger guests, children's menus and a free juice bar are available. The non-smoking rooms can be completely darkened and feature insect screens. They are equipped with baby monitors, child-proof socket covers and a stool in the bathroom. While the younger ones enjoy professional child care, parents can relax in the newly designed Apple Blossom Spa. Enjoy treatments involving the juicy Styrian apple, followed by relaxing in the Apple Blossom Steam Bath or in the Orchard Sauna. The adventure of ballooning can be experienced by the whole family - as an active participant, a passenger or a spectator. Ballooning is possible year-round at the Ballonhotel. A moored balloon start is offered free of charge for children. The launch site is right next to the hotel. The region hosted the World Ballooning Championships in 2008.
